Illumina Inc. (Nasdaq: ILMN) 15.4% HIGHER; reports Q3 non-GAAP EPS of $0.39 (GAAP EPS was $0.35) vs. consensus of $0.16. Revenues were $53.5 million vs. $46.68 million consensus. The company sees total revenue for fiscal 2006 is now expected to be between $178 and $182 million, versus the consensus of $167.6 million. The company expects non-GAAP net income of $1.00 versus the consensus of $0.48.

Endo Pharmaceuticals Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: ENDP) 14.18% LOWER; the Division of Bioequivalence, Office of Generic Drugs, Center for Drug Evaluation and Research has issued bioequivalence recommendations regarding Endo's patent-protected product, Lidoderm.

Healthways, Inc. (NASDAQ: HWAY) 11.9% HIGHER; reports Q4 EPS of $0.38, 1 cent better than estimates. Revenues were $114.88 million vs. $114.36 million consensus. Sees 2007 EPS in a range of $1.44 to $1.61, includes net costs in a range of $0.03 to $0.14 per diluted share from the MHS pilots and $0.10 per diluted share for anticipated investment in international initiatives, versus the consensus of $1.48.

Cognex Corp. (NASDAQ: CGNX) 8.3% LOWER; reports Q3 earnings of $0.22 per share, 1 cent better than estimates. Revenues came in at $58 million versus the consensus of $62.75 million. Sees Q4 EPS of $0.19-$0.23 versus the consensus of $0.22. Sees Q4 revenues of $58-$61 million versus the consensus of $64.81 million.

Motorola Inc. (NYSE: MOT) 8% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.34, ex-items, in-line with estimates. Revenues came in at $10.6 billion versus the consensus of $11.07 billion. The company's outlook for the fourth quarter of 2006 is for sales of between $11.8 billion and $12.1 billion. The consensus is $12.1 billion.

International Business Machines Corp. (NYSE: IBM) 5.4% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $1.45, 10 cents better than estimates. Revenues came in at $22.6 billion versus the consensus of $22.08 billion.

Novellus Systems Inc. (Nasdaq: NVLS) 4.8% LOWER; Reports Q3 EPS of $0.57, 6 cents better than estimates. Revenues came in at $444 million versus the consensus of $447.23 million. Sees Q4 EPS of $0.49-$0.53 versus the consensus of $0.50. The company sees Q4 sales of $415-$430 million versus the consensus of $447.23 million.

Linear Technology Corp. (Nasdaq: LLTC) 4.8% LOWER; reports Q1 earnings of $0.37 per share, $0.41 ex-stock expense, versus the consensus of $0.37. Revenues came in at $292.1 million versus the consensus of $293.4 million. CEO Lothar Maier said, "given the usual seasonal slowdown in non-consumer businesses that takes place in December, we currently expect sales and profits in the December quarter to be down roughly 5% to 7% from the quarter just completed."

Yahoo! Inc. (Nasdaq: YHOO) 4.4% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.11, in-line with estimates. Revenues ex-TAC came in at $1.12 billion versus the consensus of $1.14 billion. The company sees Q4 revenues ex-TAC between $1.15-$1.27 billion versus the consensus of $1.31 billion. Helping the stock is positive comments on the Panama Project on conference call.

Parlux Fragrances Inc. (Nasdaq: PARL) 2.5% HIGHER; Before the close, 10.5% holder Glenn H. Nussdorf said he has begun to explore the possibility of making an acquisition proposal to acquire the Company in a business combination transaction.

Intel Corp. (Nasdaq: INTC) 1.9% HIGHER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.22, including 1.5 cent gain, versus the consensus of $0.18. Revneues were $8.7 billion vs. $8.62 billion consensus. Non-Gaap EPS (excluding the effects of share-based compensation) was $0.27, including 1.5 cent gain. Q4 2006 Outlook -- Revenue: Expected to be between $9.1 billion and $9.7 billion. Current consensus is $9.46 billion.
