UnitedHealthcare Presents Seahawks High School Coach of the Year to Tumwater High School’s Sid Otton

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- The Seattle Seahawks and Washington State Football Coaches Association named Tumwater High School’s Sid Otton the Seahawks High School Coach of the Year, presented by UnitedHealthcare.

Otton is the Seahawks organization’s nomination for the NFL Don Shula Coach of the Year award, and he will receive a $2,000 award from the NFL. The ceremony took place Thursday, Dec. 15, at the Seahawks vs. Rams football game in Seattle.

The Seahawks Coach of the Year is chosen by the Washington State Football Coaches Association, which also chooses the coaches of the week throughout the high school football season.

High school football coaches serve as mentors for teamwork, leadership and courage. They play a part in building strong and confident students now and healthy adults in the future.
