Penske Automotive Expands Presence in Italy

BLOOMFIELD HILLS, Mich., Oct. 3, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Penske Automotive Group, Inc. (NYSE: PAG), an international transportation services company, today announced that it has expanded its presence in northern Italy with the acquisition of six franchises (Porsche [3], Audi, Land Rover and Volvo).   The franchises are located in the strategic northern Italian market area of Bologna.

The acquired dealerships are expected to generate approximately $200 million in revenue on an annualized basis and provide PAG with the opportunity to be the largest dealer for the BMW, Audi and Porsche brands in Italy.  Commenting on the acquisition, Penske Automotive Group President Robert H.
