Navios Maritime Partners (NMM) Misses Q2 EPS by 25c

Navios Maritime Partners (NYSE: NMM) reported Q2 EPS of ($0.20), $0.25 worse than the analyst estimate of $0.05. Revenue for the quarter came in at $44.9 million versus the consensus estimate of $50.13 million.

Net income for the three months ended June 30, 2016 was negatively affected by the accounting effect of a $17.2 million impairment loss on one of our vessels. Excluding this item, Adjusted net income for the three months ended June 30, 2016 amounted to $0.4 million compared to $11.4 million for the three months ended June 30, 2015.
