Made In America Seating lands distribution deal with Walmart and Sam's Club after Shark Tank-style Presentation
HAWTHORNE, Calif., Aug. 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Made In America Seating (MIA) lands a substantial order for a back to school season test with 900 Walmart and Sam's Club locations after a Shark Tank-style presentation at the US Manufacturing Suppliers Summit held at Walmart's headquarters.
Held in Bentonville, AR on June 28th, MIA was one of three out of 800 companies to present their products to a panel including celebrity Judge Daymond John.
"It was a very good day for Made In America Seating," said Frank DiGiovanni, VP of Sales, after MIA received the highest number of audience votes of the three companies.
Product distribution through Walmart, Walmart.com, Sam's Club, and Samsclub.com is among the rewards for participation and presentation in the summit.
MIA Seating emphasizes their products are manufactured in Union City, TN which aligns with Walmart and Sam's Club's commitment to American Renewal by investing $250 Billion into products supporting American jobs by 2023.
