Electro Scientific Industries (NASDAQ: ESIO) reported Q1 EPS of $0.09, $0.04 better than the analyst estimate of $0.05. Revenue for the quarter came in at $47.7 million versus the consensus estimate of $50.75 million.

Based on current market conditions, revenues for the second quarter of fiscal 2017 are expected to be between $30 million and $35 million. Non-GAAP loss per share is expected to be $0.20 to $0.25
