An Immersive Night of Parisian Jazz Marks the Launch of Debut Novel

July 25, 2016 7:19 AM EDT

LONDON, July 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ --

Inspired by a 2014 trip to Paris, Oliver Cable's debut novel, Fresh Air and Empty Streets, launches on 29 July in London.

With a background in professional events, Cable was not content with a typical book launch. Instead, he invites readers to join him on an immersive night in the life of the protagonist. Those attending will step into the bohemian world of a Parisian bar straight out of the novel, with a live jazz band providing the atmosphere.

The novel itself is the product of almost two years' work and tells of a young man's journey to Paris, looking for answers as to why his father left the family fifteen years ago to become an artist in the city. Together, the novel and the launch form a thoughtful perspective on the touchpoint between the world of the artist and that of the greater society.

Those interested in attending the launch should contact the publisher at hello(at)cablewrites(dot)com.

Fresh Air and Empty Streets by Oliver Cable is available through Amazon and Waterstones.
Paperback | 144 pages | ISBN 978-0995450905
