Intel (Nasdaq: INTC) said to get chip order from Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL), first major mobile win, according to Bloomberg.
UPDATE - Apple has selected Intel's chips for the iPhone which is used on AT&T's (NYSE: T) U.S. network, sources said.
iPhone handsets on Verizon's (NYSE: VZ) network will still use Qualcomm (Nasdaq: QCOM) chips.
The total size of the order wasn't speculated. AT&T is expected to sell around 22 million iPhones this year and 23 million next year, according to BTIG.
