Nuance Communications (NUAN) Weaker on Google Competition Reports

Nuance Communications (NASDAQ: NUAN) pressured on reports Google (NASDAQ: GOOG) opened access to its speech recognition API.

According to TechCrunch, by making the move Google will compete head on with Nuance by opening up the API to third-party developers.

The app will be free to start to attract developers and will move to a pricing model at a later date.
