CamberView Partners Announces Eileen Rominger, Former Chief Investment Officer of Goldman Sachs Asset Management and Director of the SEC Division of Investment Management, Joining as Partner

SAN FRANCISCO, Feb. 26, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- CamberView Partners, LLC, the leading source of independent, investor-led advice for public companies, is pleased to announce that Eileen Rominger, the former Chief Investment Officer at Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) and former Director of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Division of Investment Management, has joined the firm as a Partner and Head of the New York office.

Eileen brings proven leadership experience, a deep understanding of the investment management landscape, and hands-on regulatory expertise to CamberView. This impressive set of skills complements our existing team's backgrounds as corporate governance leaders at global institutional investors, proxy research, and strategic advisory firms.  Ms. Rominger served as a senior executive at Goldman Sachs Asset Management for 11 years, including as a Partner and Global Chief Investment Officer, leading the fundamental equity, fixed income and quantitative investment teams responsible for management of approximately $700 billion in clients' assets.  Prior to joining Goldman Sachs, Ms. Rominger worked for 18 years as an equity portfolio manager at Oppenheimer Capital, where she was a Managing Director and a member of the Executive Committee.  After leaving GSAM, Eileen was the Director of the SEC Division of Investment Management, where she was responsible for overseeing the $14 trillion U.S. mutual fund industry as well as federally registered investment advisers.  Ms. Rominger first joined CamberView in 2013 as a Senior Advisor.
