Groupon (GRPN) Gains as Alibaba (BABA) Shows 33M Share Stake

Groupon (NASDAQ: GRPN) is gaining 15.9% in pre-open trading Tuesday after Alibaba (NYSE: BABA) disclosed it held a 32,972,000 share stake in the company as of the end of 2015, according to the firm's 13F filing with the SEC.

Alibaba's shares are equal to a 5.6% stake in the online coupon company.
