Jabil Circuit (JBL) Tops Q1 EPS by 5c; Issues Q2 Outlook, Boosts FY16 EPS Guidance

Jabil Circuit (NYSE: JBL) reported Q1 EPS of $0.85, $0.05 better than the analyst estimate of $0.80. Revenue for the quarter came in at $5.21 billion versus the consensus estimate of $5.22 billion.

GUIDANCE:

Jabil Circuit sees Q2 2016 EPS of $0.54-$0.70, versus the consensus of $0.62. Jabil Circuit sees Q2 2016 revenue of $4.4-4.7 billion, versus the consensus of $4.72 billion.

Management reiterated fiscal year 2016 revenue outlook of approximately $20 billion and increased core diluted earnings per share outlook to approximately $2.65. The Street sees FY16 EPS of $2.58.
