Alibaba (NYSE: BABA) and Disney (NYSE: DIS) are said to have inked a deal for an over-the-top content system in China.
The WSJ noted that pre-sales of the system, called Disney Life, will begin immediately through Alibaba's T-mall.
The device will allow access to Disney content and also allow users to plan a visit to Hong Kong and Shanghai Disneyland theme parks. There will be an initial one-year subscription for the device, though Disney didn't say what sort of subscriptions would be available at expiration.
Both Alibaba and Disney shares are trading higher early.
