November 18, 2015 7:53 AM EST

Amazon.com (Nasdaq: AMZN) is now using a two-factor authorization method to beef-up its security measures for users.

Notably, names like Facebook (Nasdaq: FB), Google, and Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) have been using the system for some time now.

While no official announcement has been made, The Verge has a pretty straightforward tutorial on how to enable the feature for your account.

Shares of Amazon are indicated higher Wednesday morning.
