Yahoo! (Nasdaq: YHOO) is coming under scrutiny of the New York Attorney General amid a recent probe into daily fantasy sports (DFS) sites.
According to the Techcrunch, NY AG Eric Schneiderman could look into Yahoo! following its addition of DFS to its fantasy sports site last July.
Schneiderman announced an investigation into DraftKings and FanDuel on Tuesday.
Yahoo! has been offering year-long fantasy sports offerings since before DraftKings and FanDuel were founded.
While Yahoo! hasn't been officially named, the company maintains that its DFS offerings are legal outside of the seven U.S. states where it was determined that DFS violates the law.
Shares of Yahoo! are flat in early trading Wednesday.
