Samsung Pay has launched in the U.S., though it is currently only available on certain devices and carriers.
Reports have Samsung Pay available for those with a Galaxy Note 5, Galaxy S6 Edge+, Galaxy S6 Edge, or Galaxy S6 device. Also, the devices have to be run on Sprint, AT&T, T-Mobile, or U.S. Cellular.
Samsung Pay also has adopted MST and NFC technology, which means you should be able to use it anywhere you can swipe a card. This means it should be accepted at more places than Apple Pay or Android Pay.
It wasn't made clear when Verizon (NYSE: VZ) would move to support Samsung Pay, if at all.
