Evercore ISI Internet analyst Ken Sena noted that a pair of ad blockers just jumped to the #1 and #4 paid spots in Apple's (NASDAQ: AAPL) iOS App Store's Top Charts following yesterday's release of iOS 9. Amid this development, Sena recirculated his ad blocker note from earlier in the month which highlighted the ad blockers impact on specific companies.

Sena notes the two apps "Peace" and "Purify" are the first wave of iOS ad blockers out of the gate with apps from the larger desktop players like AdBlock Plus still not yet released.

In his note earlier in the month, Sena said he sees risk to Twitter (NYSE: TWTR), LinkedIn (NASDAQ: LNKD), Criteo (NASDAQ: CRTO), and Rocket Fuel (NASDAQ: FUEL) from the ad blockers.

Meanwhile, the firm believes Facebook (NASDAQ: FB) stands well positioned while many others in the industry remain exposed. Also, he sees advantage to Google (NASDAQ: GOOGL) (NASDAQ: GOOG) from the scale and captivity it holds despite the fact that more than half of its time spent and revenues are still browser-based.
