Google (Nasdaq: GOOG) YouTube is looking to get a little more accurate.
According to a post made on Twitter today, YouTube will be doing away with its mysterious 301+ video view count and allowing for more accuracy of viewing metrics.
Some speculate that the move is a sign of increasing confidence by Google in its ability to distinguish between human and those of "bots," or automated systems. The news should be good for advertisers as they'll know exactly how many pairs of eyes could potentially be viewing their ad.
