Alliant Energy names Robert Durian Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer and Controller

MADISON, Wis., July 29, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Patricia Kampling, Alliant Energy Corporation Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer, announced the promotion of Robert Durian to Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer and Controller.  

Robert has been Controller and Chief Accounting Officer since 2011, with oversight of utility accounting, financial reporting and asset management. He has been with the company since 1992 and has held several leadership roles in the financial reporting area of the company, including Assistant Controller, Director – Financial Reporting, Manager – Financial Reporting and Manager – Internal Reporting.

Robert is a CPA and holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Northern Iowa. He is currently pursuing his MBA at the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
