Allianz Life Promotes Kristine Lord-Krahn to AVP, Senior Counsel - Distribution

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)-- Allianz Life Insurance Company of North America (Allianz Life®) has promoted Kristine Lord-Krahn to assistant vice president, senior counsel – Distribution. Lord-Krahn will be responsible for legal support for all lines of distribution. She will report to Kara Barrow, vice president, Corporate Governance and Distribution.

“Kristine’s promotion is in recognition of her strong leadership, depth of knowledge, and contributions to the business,” Barrow said.

Lord-Krahn will provide strategic direction and oversee legal service needs related to distribution of the company’s annuities and life insurance products. She has served as a senior counsel at Allianz Life since 2005.

Prior to coming to Allianz Life, Lord-Krahn held legal and compliance positions at DeCare International/Delta Dental of MN, RBC Dain Rauscher, and TCF Investments and Insurance Group. She has a bachelor of arts degree from the University of St. Thomas and a juris doctorate from William Mitchell College of Law in St. Paul.
