New Website, Weedshop.com, Offers One-Stop Shopping

PHILADELPHIA, PA -- (Marketwired) -- 06/29/15 -- Ryan Ward, an entrepreneur and former employee of eBay, is the founder of Weedshop.com (www.weedshop.com), an online store offering various smoke products.

Along with co-founder Brian Rudderrow, Ward wants his site to be the source of one-stop shopping for smoke-related goods, including both traditional and cutting-edge products.

"For smoke shop customers, things are progressing, but I think there's a gap in between demand and supply," Ward says.

States are changing their laws and, unlike the old days, smoke shops now can be found in small towns, in addition to bigger cities, he says. Still, many towns do not have such a shop, and there hasn't been that one resource online that can be used as a commonly known go-to source, he says.

"I want my shop to be sort of like the Amazon of smoke shops, featuring products that are both new and used," he says. "Whether shoppers need a restock on rolling papers, are looking for an artisanal glass pipe for a gift or want to try something new in a vaporizer, we have it available."

The site features dozens of reviews from satisfied users.

Ward estimates that there has never been a greater demand for an online store to feature products typically sold at head shops.

"Even if potential customers have access to a local smoke shop, many would much prefer to sleuth through a wide variety of products, click on what they like, and wait for it to arrive in the mail," he says.
