Amazon (AMZN) May Look to Crowdsource for Package Deliveries (FDX) (UPS)

FedEx (NYSE: FDX) and UPS (NYSE: UPS) drop to session lows.

UPDATE - Amazon (Nasdaq: AMZN) is said to consider crowdsourcing people to deliver packages, according to the WSJ.

Amazon might enlist brick-and-mortar retailers in urban areas to store packages via simply renting space space at a location or paying a per-package fee.

Internally, the service is called, On My Way. Timing on when the service will launch is stil unknown and its possible that the company won't move ahead with the plans.

UPS is down about 0.4 percent, while FedEx is off about 0.7 percent Tuesday.
