May 3 event honors LGBT culinary professionals and raises scholarship money for young chefs

The event, which coincides with the James Beard Awards (http://www.jamesbeard.org/awards) on Monday, May 4 at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, celebrates the LGBT culinary community. Chef Smith and Table Fifty-two will donate 15 percent of each purchase to the James Beard Foundation (http://www.jamesbeard.org), which promotes the culinary arts and provides scholarships to aspiring chefs.
