B&H Photo -- The App to Watch on the New Apple Watch

NEW YORK, NY -- (Marketwired) -- 04/29/15 -- The device that may change wrist wear forever meets a game-changing application today. The Apple Watch will debut with a number of apps geared toward all kinds of users, but B&H will be at the forefront as we are proud to announce that the Apple Watch will have the B&H Photo shopping app as one of its premier applications on launch day.

Having first been revealed on September 9, 2014, with pre-orders taken on April 10, 2015 and two more weeks of agonizing anticipation, the Apple Watch is finally here. Along with a solid slate of apps like Messages, Phone, Mail, Maps, Passbook, Siri and more, you can now download the B&H Photo app, and continue your B&H experience on your wrist.

The first thing you'll notice about the app is that the clean, minimalistic user interface is optimized to fit the screen of the Apple Watch. The home screen features four categories, which are Trending, Best Sellers, Deal Zone, and Just Sold. Best Sellers lists the best-selling items on the B&H website. Deal Zone provides ongoing specials on certain products. Just Sold lets you know which items other consumers have bought. Trending combines all three into one list.

When you see something you like, you can tap on the item to go to its abbreviated product page, which lists the photo, price, name, and customer reviews, on your Apple Watch. Force Touch (hold and press the screen) to get a list of three options, which are Add to Cart, Watchlist, and View in App. Add to Cart is pretty much self-explanatory, adding it to your cart. Watchlist lets you add the product to your B&H wishlist for future reference. View in App pushes the product to the B&H app on your iPhone so you can complete the checkout process. Currently, you cannot check out from the Apple Watch.

The B&H Photo Apple Watch app is available for download in the iOS App Store. The Apple Watch is sold exclusively through Apple for now.
