“América Móvil ratifies information published in the media”

Mexico City, Mexico, February 27, 2015. América Móvil, S.A.B. de C.V. ("América Móvil") [BMV: AMX] [NYSE: AMX] [NASDAQ: AMOV] [LATIBEX: XAMXL], as requested by the National Banking and Securities Commission (Comisión Nacional Bancaria y de Valores), hereby ratifies the information disclosed by its Argentinian subsidiary (Claro) that has been published by the media regarding investment plans in said country. With respect to the aforementioned, AMX ratifies that its Argentinian subsidiary has planned to allocate approximately $400 million dollars per year during the next five years to cover their capital expenditures, including investment in its third generation network (3G), expansion of its fiber optic network and deployment of its fourth generation network (4G), and thus expand its coverage and capacity. The aforesaid amount is added to the approximately $640 million dollars related to the acquisition of spectrum that was auctioned in Argentina at the end of 2014.
