AOL (AOL) to Shut Down Apple-Focused Blog, TUAW

AOL, Inc. (NYSE: AOL) is taking the axe to one of its better-know websites.
According to market reports out Friday, AOL is shuttering The Unofficial Apple Weblog, or TUAW. The Apple-focused blog will end on February 2nd.
News comes as AOL is looking to stop operations on underperforming web assets amidst a company-wide reorganization. That effort is also happening amid some investors pushing for a merger between AOL and Yahoo!, though both companies have denied being interested in such a transaction.
Shares of AOL are flat in early trading.
