Citigroup (C) Head of European Investor Sales, FX Said to Leave Bank

January 16, 2015 12:49 PM EST

Citigroup's (NYSE: C) head of European Investor Sales, Foreign Exchange, and Local Markets, Alex Jackson, is said to have left the bank amid recent currency volatility.

Bloomberg noted that the move isn't related to recent activity in the currency markets, though the timing is highly coincidental.

Citi reported a $350 million drop in Q4 net income to $2.46 billion as the bank's trading segment saw a decrease in activity.

Also of note, market headlines out Friday have Citi losing over $150 million from the foreign exchange fluctuations.

Shares of Citi are nearly flat Friday.
