Apple (Nasdaq: AAPL) may move to bring Apple Pay to the U.K. sometime in the first-half of 2015.
The Telegraph noted that Apple is in talks with at least one of Britain's biggest banks, though discussions have been tricky due to terms expected on both sides of the table.
Most of the issues surround data that Apple will be able to access. Personal an financial information that Apple wants to collect could serve as a beachhead for an invasion of the banking industry, which makes banking executives nervous.
Shares of Apple are positive Monday.
