Vantiv (NYSE: VNTV) reached a 52 week high today after Pacific Crest analyst, Josh Beck reiterated his Overweight rating. Mr. Beck analyzed SSS trends in key verticals and despite retail woes, Vantiv trends remain robust due to high exposure to nondiscretionary spending.
He also analyzed sensitivity to a slowdown in the financial institution (FI) business next year, but determined it could be easily offset with only modest merchant upside.
No change to price target of $62.
