Intel (NASDAQ: INTC) issued a new price list, which includes the addition of 17 new processors for notebooks, mobile workstations and desktops. The new products include: (1) four new high end notebook processors, (2) three new processors for mobile workstations, and (3) ten new value processors for notebooks and desktops.
Wells Fargo analyst, David Wong, thinks that Intel’s ability to repeatedly refresh its product lines shows the company’s strength and reiterated it as his top pick.
Both the refreshed embedded Braswell notebook lineup and new Braswell processors feature rebranded integrated graphics unit and increased burst frequency, which lead to higher CPU and GPU performance. The integrated graphics unit is rebranded to HD Graphics 405 on the Pentium chip, and to HD Graphics 400 on the Celeron chips.
The firm maintained an Outperform rating and $40-$50 valuation range.
