Jefferies analyst Ahmed Farman upgraded E.ON SE (EOAN:GR) (OTC: EONGY) from Hold to Buy with a price target of EUR22.70 (from EUR17.40).

The analyst comments: “Our work on German grids suggests the market underestimates E.ON's potential to accelerate grid capex. Key catalysts include Germany's 2026 network plan (NAP'26) and the regulator's draft WACC decision, both due in the coming months. Higher capex outlook supports E.ON's transition from a ~5% EPS CAGR to a double-digit earnings compounder. Upgrade E.ON to BUY and raise PT to €22.7 (TSR 25%), towards the upper end of the Street's range.
