Motorola, Inc. (NYSE: MOT) today announced the acquisition of RadioFrame Networks' iDEN business. RadioFrame is a provider of lower cost, power efficient iDEN technology. Blackstone Group's (NYSE: BX) Pinnacle Brands Corp. is expected to acquire Birds Eye Foods for $1.3 billion the Wall Street Journal reported, citing people familiar with the matter.

Birds Eye Foods is the nation's largest frozen-vegetable company and is majority owned by the private-equity firm Vestar Capital Partners. The deal could be announced as soon as Thursday.

Bird's Eye, which currently carries $700 million in long-term debt, has a dominant market share in the frozen vegetable market, representing 25 percent of total sales in the industry. The company was acquired by Vestar in 2002, and employers approximately 1,700 workers, with warehouses throughout the Midwest.

The all-cash deal will add to Pinnacle's stable of branded grocery products sold throughout the country, including Vlasic pickles, Mrs. Butterworth syrup and Open Pit Barbeque sauce.

American Express Company (NYSE: AXP) today announced it has agreed to acquire Revolution Money, a Revolution LLC company.

Revolution Money, launched by AOL Co-founder Steve Case's Revolution LLC in 2007, provides secure payments through an internet based platform. No names or account numbers appear on Revolution cards and transactions are authorized by using a PIN number. The company's online person-to-person payment accounts are FDIC insured and ideally suited for social and instant messaging networks. It also offers a prepaid card linked to those accounts that can be used for offline payments or to withdraw cash from ATMs throughout the United States.

Applied Materials, Inc. (Nasdaq: AMAT) and Semitool, Inc. (Nasdaq: SMTL) today announced a definitive agreement for Applied to acquire the outstanding shares of Semitool for $11 per share in an all-cash tender offer.

Cisco (NASDAQ: CSCO) today announced a revised recommended voluntary cash offer to acquire TANDBERG. Under the revised terms, Cisco will offer to purchase all the outstanding shares of TANDBERG for 170 Norwegian Kroner per share for an aggregate purchase price of approximately $3.4 billion. Cisco will also increase the interest payable on the offer price to a rate of 3.00% from a rate of 1.75%. This revised offer represents Cisco's final price for this transaction.

Shareholders representing in aggregate more than 30% of the outstanding shares, including TANDBERG'S largest shareholders Folketrygdfondet and OppenheimerFunds, have pre-accepted this offer based on this new price. These shares combined with the previously announced shareholder acceptances bring the total to in excess of 40% of the outstanding shares committed to the transaction.
