Item 5.02 Departure of Directors or Certain Officers; Election of Directors; Appointment of Certain Officers; Compensatory Arrangements of Certain Officers.

On November 29, 2017, Eric L. Dobmeier notified Seattle Genetics, Inc. (the “Company”) of his decision to resign from his position as Chief Operating Officer of the Company, effective as of January 1, 2018. Mr. Dobmeier resigned to assume the chief executive officer position with a private biotech company.
