Senator John Thune, the number three ranking Republican in the Senate, said he thinks lawmakers will take a look at gun laws after the Las Vegas shooting, according to Bloomberg, citing comments to reporters.

Thune thinks lawmakers will take a look at bump stocks and other modifications that can turn a semiautomatic weapon into a virtual automatic weapon.

First lawmakers want to get the facts on what the gunman in the mass shooting in Las Vegas used and how he obtained the weapons.
