Verenium Corporation (Nasdaq: VRNM) 50.5% HIGHER; this morning announced a strategic partnership with BP to accelerate the development and commercialization of cellulosic ethanol. Under the initial phase of the strategic alliance, Verenium is to receive $90 million in total funding from BP over the next 18 months for rights to current and future technology held within the partnership. The stock was also upgraded by Jefferies and Broadpoint to Buy.

Internap (Nasdaq: INAP) 35.4% LOWER; reports Q2 loss of $0.02 ex-items, versus the analyst estimate of $0.03. Revenues for the quarter were $62.3 million, versus the consensus of $64.25 million.

Entropic Communications (Nasdaq: ENTR) 33.6% LOWER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.02, versus the analyst estimate of $0.02. Revenues for the quarter were $42.8 million, versus the consensus of $43.61 million.

Multi-Fineline Electronix (Nasdaq: MFLX) 33% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.34, 2 cents lower than the analyst estimate of $0.36. Revenues for the quarter were $167.6 million, versus the consensus of $165.26 million.

The Advisory Board Company (Nasdaq: ABCO) 28.3% LOWER; reports Q3 EPS of $0.40, 7 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.47. Revenues for the quarter were $57.2 million, versus the consensus of $56.93 million. Lowers Q4 EPS to $0.30-$0.37, versus the consensus of $0.61 and revs of $57.5-$59 million, versus the consensus of $62.9 million. Sees FY08 revs of $232-$237 million, versus prior guidance of $243 million, versus the consensus of $252 million. EPS for the year goes from $1.77 to $1.50-$1.57. Oppenheimer also downgraded the stock to Perform.

Caribou Coffee (Nasdaq: CBOU) 24.7% HIGHER; reports a Q2 loss of $0.13, 10 cents better than the analyst estimate of ($0.23). Revenues for the quarter were $63.2 million, versus the consensus of $60.74 million.

Glu Mobile (Nasdaq: GLUU) 23.2% LOWER; reports Q2 loss of $0.23, versus the analyst estimate of ($0.22). Revenues for the quarter were $23.7 million, versus the consensus of $23.69 million.

Syncora Holdings Ltd. (formerly known as Security Capital Assurance Ltd.) (NYSE: SCA) 22.4% HIGHER; reported today that the previously announced transactions with XL Capital pursuant to the Master Commutation, Release and Restructuring Agreement of July 28, 2008 have closed today. The Company also reported that the previously announced transaction with Merrill Lynch & Co., Inc. pursuant to the agreement with Merrill Lynch dated July 28, 2008 also closed today.

AMRI (NASDAQ: AMRI) 21.4% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.24, versus the analyst estimate of $0.10. Revenues for the quarter were $57.9 million, versus the consensus of $51.80 million. Sees Q3 revs of $47-$49 million and EPS of $0.08-$0.10, compared to the Street estimates of $49.21 million and $0.07, respectively. For FY08, revs are expected to be $186-$190 million and EPS in the range of $0.48-$0.52, versus the estimates of $208.09 million and $0.38, respectively.

Greenfield Online, Inc. (Nasdaq: SRVY) 20.3% HIGHER; announced today that a strategic buyer has submitted a proposal to acquire all of the outstanding shares of the Company's common stock for $17.50 per share in cash.

Primus Guaranty (NYSE: PRS) 20.1% HIGHER; reports Q2 EPS of $0.41, 11 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.30. Revenues for the quarter were $34.2 million, versus the consensus of $29.87 million.
