UBS upgraded Ralcorp Holdings Inc. (NYSE: RAH) from Neutral to Buy. PT $75.
Analyst, David Palmer, said, "In our view, earnings visibility, combined with ongoing M&A optionality, solid cash earnings, and a 20% stake in Post makes Ralcorp a compelling risk/reward play at these levels—and as such we are upgrading RAH."
"We are lowering our FY12e EPS to $3.10 from $3.56 to reflect: 1) 3Q results—including better than expected top line growth (+11% vs UBSe +9.5%) offset by ongoing Bloomfield plant woes (~$0.10 3Q impact), and 2) the restatement of 1Q EPS to exclude $0.40 of Post earnings."
