UBS is moving stocks in the after-hours session today, upgrading five stocks in the Airline sector. Each upgrade was from Neutral to Buy:
- AMR Corp. (NYSE: AMR)
- Alaska Air (NYSE: ALK)
- Continental Airlines (NYSE: CAL)
- US Airways (NYSE: LCC)
- UAL Corp. (Nasdaq: UAUA) - named Top Pick
The firm cited reduced labor costs, constrained growth in seat capacity and an overall economic recovery. UBS also said that recent capital raises within the group will likely strengthen balance sheets.
