Shares of Tesla (Nasdaq: TSLA) are notably higher Monday morning as Morgan Stanley upgraded the stock two-notches, from Underweight to Overweight. The firm also boosted its price target from $45 up to $50.

Morgan Stanley said fears of a slower-than-expected introduction of Tesla's Model S are "overdone." Consensus expectations have fallen and shares have been underperforming as a result.
