Sterne Agee upgrades Oshkosh Corp. (NYSE: OSK) from Neutral to Buy.
The upgrade follows news late last night that the Department of Defense has awarded Oshkosh a $1.06 billion contract for the purchase of 2,244 MRAP ATV's. Shares of Oshkosh have surged more than 23% on the news.
The news is also affecting other stocks in the sector, pushing Force Protection (Nasdaq: FRPT) 30% lower, Spartan Motors (Nasdaq: SPAR) 29% lower and Navistar (NYSE: NAV) a percent lower.
