Standpoint Research Upgrades Volterra Semiconductor (VLTR) to Buy; Valuation Call

Standpoint Research upgraded Volterra Semiconductor (NASDAQ: VLTR) to Buy with a price target of $26.00.

Standpoint analyst, Ronnie Moas, said, "VLTR has once again come back down to where we see value and limited downside risk...The main marks against VLTR were on technicals and relative strength … those are in our view contrarian indicators when at this extreme combined with high marks on most other variables...This is a high-beta name and not recommended/ suitable for those who are already over-weight high-beta tech names."
