Dougherty & Co upgraded Spartan Motors (NASDAQ: SPAR) shares from Neutral to Buy in an intraday research note. The price target was raised from $5 to $6.50.
The raised investment rating follows Q1 results from the company on Tuesday and the resulting 13 percent surge in the stock.
While investors are taking some profits this afternoon, the stock just ticked higher following the Dougherty upgrade. Shares are now down 3.9 percent to $4.73.
