Shares of Sequenom (Nasdaq: SQNM) have been extremely volatile over the last hour of trading as we are hearing that an analyst at Stephens upgraded the stock from Underweight to Equalweight. The firm also boosted its price target on SQNM shares from $5 to $7.
At last check, Sequenom shares were up 0.4% to $7.20. Despite the upgrade, Stephens new target on Sequenom suggests potential downside of about 3% from where the stock is trading today.
