Reports GATX (GMT) To Offer As Much As $3.5B for GE's Rail Service unit.

According to reports from Bloomberg, GATX Corp (NYSE: GMT) may offer as much as $3.5 billion for General Electric's (NYSE: GE) Rail Services unit.

GE is looking to unload as much as $100 billion in slower-growing finance asset, to help its sagging stock price.
