Pivotal Research upgraded Facebook (NASDAQ: FB) from Hold to Buy with a price target of $33.00.

Analyst, Brian Wieser, said, "Our price target on Facebook is largely driven by our expectations for rising revenue growth, weakening operating margins, rising capital expenditures and accounting for a riskier business profile when compared with the stock’s closest peer, Google (Nasdaq: GOOG)(BUY). This valuation has been and remains driven by fundamental factors. Our estimates on advertising revenues – which account for more than 80% of the company’s revenue – are based on ongoing interactions with scores of marketers and advertising agency professionals."
