Najarian Thinks Buffett Added to American Express (AXP) Stake, Not Wells-Fargo (WFC)

August 22, 2008 1:32 PM EDT

On CNBC's Fast Money, trader Jon Najarian said that he believes that Warren Buffett has added to his positions in American Express (NYSE: AXP), rather than Wells Fargo (NYSE: WFC). This morning, on CNBC's Squawk Box, Buffett admitted that he has added to a position in a financial stock, but wouldn't specify which (out of his two financial stocks) one he increased his holdings in.

Najarian believes Buffett moved more into American Express as he is seeing twice the action in American Express stock and options than Wells Fargo.

American Express Company, a payments and travel company, provides charge and credit payment card products, and travel-related services worldwide.
