NHP Declares Quarterly Cash Dividends on Common Stock and Series B Preferred Stock

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif., Nov. 5 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Nationwide Health Properties, Inc. (NYSE: NHP) announced today that our Board of Directors declared a $0.44 per share dividend on our common stock that will be paid on December 4, 2009 to shareholders of record on November 13, 2009.

In addition, our Board of Directors declared a $1.9375 per share dividend on our Series B cumulative convertible preferred stock that will be paid on December 31, 2009 to shareholders of record on December 15, 2009.
