UCBH Holdings, Inc. (NASDAQ: UCBH) 30.6% LOWER; reports Q1 loss of $0.78, versus the analyst estimate of ($0.24).
SumTotal(R) Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ: SUMT) 22.7% HIGHER; today announced that it has entered into a definitive merger agreement with affiliates of Accel-KKR in a transaction valued at approximately $124 million. Under the terms of the agreement, affiliates of Accel-KKR will acquire all of the outstanding shares of SumTotal common stock for $3.80 per share in cash.
Ford (NYSE: F) 19.2% HIGHER; reported a Q1 loss of $0.75 per share, well ahead of the consensus of a $1.23 loss. Revenues came in at $24.8 billion, versus the consensus of $22 billion. ZymoGenetics, Inc. (NASDAQ: ZGEN) 14.8% HIGHER; today reported that the administration of the investigational compound PEG-Interferon lambda in combination with ribavirin in 10 patients resulted in a significant reduction in hepatitis C virus RNA and was well tolerated in patients with relapsed HCV in an ongoing Phase 1b clinical trial. Antiviral activity was observed at all dose levels tested either as single agent or in combination with ribavirin. Treatment was well-tolerated with reversible, dose-dependent increases in liver enzyme levels and bilirubin.
Immucor, Inc.
