Keefe, Bruyette and Woods upgrades Capitol Federal Financial (Nasdaq: CFFN) from Underperfrom to Market Perform. Price target $30.
Keefe analyst says, "We raise our rating of CFFN to MP based on valuation as downside to our target does not support an UP rating. Our fundamental outlook on CFFN has not changed as we expect the bank to fare better than most given its conservative asset mix and strong TCE level. In addition to the upgrade, we are lowering our price target to $30 as we adjust our second step valuation assumptions."
Capitol Federal Financial is a federally chartered mid-tier mutual holding company that operates through its wholly owned subsidiary, Capitol Federal Savings Bank (the Bank).
