Goldman Sachs issued an intraday upgrade on shares of ASM International (NASDAQ: ASMI) Wednesday afternoon. The firm boosted its investment rating from Sell to Neutral.
The firm cited "improved prospects...for structural change." Goldman said recent outperformance was driven mainly by "stronger-than-expected capital expenditure at semiconductor producers and assembly & packagingin providers, as well as commentary at its May 15 AGM."
