SEATTLE, Oct. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Eddie Bauer Holdings, Inc. (Nasdaq: EBHI) (the "Company") announces that it has hired Jean Park as Divisional Vice President, Men's Merchandising.
Ms. Park has extensive experience as a men's merchant and has spent over 10 years in the industry. She has held a variety of roles with Levi Strauss & Co, most recently as Director, Men's and Boy's Merchandising for the "Signature by Levi Strauss & Co" brand. From 2003 to 2005, Ms. Park was the director of boys merchandising for Levis brand. Ms. Park also held the roles of Director of Licensing and Director of Brand Strategy for the Levis brand between 2002 and 2004.

Her significant experience making positive, deep and lasting changes to men's brands will be a key differentiator for us. As an inducement to join the Company, Ms. Park was granted, effective October 1, 2008, 2,500 restricted stock units that will become 100% vested at the conclusion of four years of service, and options to purchase 7,500 shares of the Company's common stock, vesting ratably over four years and priced at the closing price of the Company's common stock on October 1, 2008. These awards are inducement awards under NASDAQ Marketplace Rule 4350(i).
